Hi everyone! I made another pair of shoes out of my broken shoes.
It is a wedge heel where the leather for the straps are chipped in due to wear and tear.
It is so much different than the other shoes I had made so far. I encountered a lot of challenges but it turned out great!
First off, it is a wedge heels open shoes style. It is kinda tricky because unlike the others that are closed shoes, there aren’t much room for mistakes because I won’t be able to hide it.
It has to be really fit to the feet. Otherwise, there is a tendency that the shoe will fall out of my feet or won’t be wearable at all.
The yarn I used is also tricky. It is hard to remove if you make a mistake because it kinda sticks together. It is also an ombre colored yarn, which may not be the best option when doing something that should be in pairs.
The color of each shoe didn’t really match at all, but I paid extra attention to make sure it is exactly the same style.
