I am a college student from the Philippines. Though my BS has no connection to crocheting, it is my hobby, passion, stress-reliever, mini business, and maybe any good description.
You will rarely see me without a hook and a ball of yarn. When I sit, I crochet. I crochet in the jeepney on the way to school. I crochet while waiting for my professors. I crochet when I’m doing nothing (ironic >.<). When I’m really stressed, I crochet ’til 3am (like yesterday night =.=). I don’t know why but whenever I finish a project, I feel ecstatic. I feel the same whenever I buy a new ball of yarn.
I learned crochet through my mom. She taught me how to chain and double crochet. Then, I discovered everything on my own afterwards. I was in grade 3 when I finished my first cellphone bag.
A short while after, my grandma gave me a book about crocheting. And I created many projects. ๐
Now, I was able to sell many crocheted products. ๐ and I’m happy because I can help my parents because of that. I buy my school books from there. And someday, I hope I can pay my tuition through this. (Though I’ll be an academic scholar neat semester).
