Crochet Earrings – inspired by Korean Drama Penthouse

I have been a fan of Korean dramas since I was in high school.

I remember downloading episodes of My Love From Another Star, and fangirling over Jun Ji Hyun.

I have watched countless K-dramas. Among these were Descendants of the Sun, Doctor’s Crush, Doctor Stranger, W – Two Worlds, Weightlifting Fairy, Kim Bok Joo, Korean Oddysey, and the list goes on.

It is fun to watch and entertaining. Now, I am binge watching Penthouse! Honestly, I don’t like it so much as the characters are so frustrating and usually never think before doing something.

But, it is a decent K-drama, give it a try if you have time!

One of the highlight items of this K-drama is Cheon Seo Jin’s ruby ring. It is the one that wounded Min Seol A’s face before she died.

Her ring is iconic and really pretty.

I thought if I could be inspired to do jewelry like that, so I did!

But instead of a ring, I decided to make a pair of earrings.

A red oval center and white triangle shapes around it.

It is cute and cool. And I think, the story of the K-drama, speaks for itself!

I used 3.00mm crochet hook, and 2.00mm crochet hook. As for the yarn, I used red acrylic yarn, and white mercerized thread.

As always, love lots!
