February is officially here! Not only is it a fresh month, but it’s also my birth month, which makes it my absolute favorite time of the year. 🥳
A new month also means a new pattern drop for the #ReStitchCAL, and this time, we are making a cozy pair of crochet slippers! I think I’m really inclining to a “stash-buster” theme for this entire CAL—there’s something so satisfying about clearing out those leftover yarn balls.

For this pair, I dug up a handful of acrylic yarns in various shades of pink. I used an off-white acrylic for the main body of the slipper, and I think it provides the perfect clean background for all that pink to pop. It’s a total “Pink Ensemble” vibe!
My Thoughts on the Pattern:
It’s a great, easy-to-follow design. But the best part for me? The customization. Aside from the color play, you can arrange the flowers however you like. The original pattern had a “flower patch” look, which is super cute, but I wanted something a bit more “refined.” I arranged mine in a diagonal flow from the big toe to the outer side of the foot. I think it gives them such an elegant, intentional look!
The flower pattern itself is dangerous—it’s so easy and addictive that I could probably make a hundred of them in one sitting. Give me a good show to binge-watch and a warm cup of coffee, and I’ll have a garden in no time! I’m definitely saving this flower technique for future projects.
If there’s one drawback, it’s the assembly. I’d definitely categorize this as a medium-to-high sew pattern. You crochet a rectangle first, and then you have to sew to form the slipper shape, sew the ankle part, and then sew on every single flower. Just something to keep in mind if you usually try to avoid the needle! 🪡
Overall, I am obsessed with how these turned out. They’re the perfect birthday treat for my feet! I can’t wait to see what next month’s pattern brings.
