I have been having so much fun with the #MooglyCAL lately! There’s just something so satisfying about learning new stitches and working on a project with a set timeframe.

What I love most about the Moogly schedule is that it’s not overwhelming at all. There’s plenty of time to finish each block while still leaving me room for all my other personal projects (and you know I always have a few of those going at once!). That positive experience actually prompted me to look for another crochet along to join, and that’s how I stumbled upon the ReStitch Crochet Along.

While I was researching, I noticed that the majority of CALs out there are focused on making afghans or blankets. Don’t get me wrong, I love a good blanket, but what really drew me to #ReStitchCAL is that it introduces patterns for all sorts of different items!

I especially love the idea of “making actual projects together,” which is a big part of what they emphasize. It feels more like a community project where we’re creating things we can wear or use right away.

I am so excited to get started! I’ll be linking my finished pieces here as I go, and I hope you’ll stay tuned to follow my #ReStitchCAL journey.
