Meet the Maker
My journey began in the 4th grade, born out of a moment of childhood boredom and a few tears. To keep my hands busy, my mom taught me the very basics: the simple rhythm of the chain and the double crochet.
I fell in love with it instantly.
Seeing my new passion, my grandmother gave me a Japanese crochet book. Even though I couldn’t understand a single written word, the intricate diagrams and pictures became my map. I spent hours deciphering those pages, teaching myself complex techniques and styles that I still use today.
What started as a way to pass the time has grown into My Crocheted World—a place where language doesn’t matter, but the love in every stitch does.
